  • Initial Assessment

    Dr. Okada meets all potential patients for an initial consultation, during which she’ll conduct a full facial analysis and an interview to understand your needs and desires. During this consultation, you’ll learn about options and set a plan for your procedure.

  • During Treatment

    Non-surgical chin and cheek augmentation is accomplished using fillers, which are injected via a needle once the area has been numbed. The procedure typically takes an hour or less, and you can return to work and activities almost immediately.

  • Recovery Timeline

    Though you can return to most activities right away, Dr. Okada suggests patients don’t rub the injection area or embark in strenuous activity for twenty-four hours after the procedure. Results will develop as soon as four days after treatment, and results last between nine months and two years, depending on the type of filler and area of placement.

Does Chin and Cheek Filler hurt? 

Any injection can be painful, but the needles we use for these injections are tiny. We also numb the area first with a topical anesthetic if you’d like us to. You should not feel any pain after the dermal filler procedure, though there may be a bit of skin redness or swelling, and in rare cases, bruising.
